Title: Painting Vibrant Floral Watercolors

Dates: September 18 &19 with optional tour on Friday, Sept 17 (see below)
(Sat. Sept 28 & Sun. Sept 19th - Instruction in the studio)

Time: 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (one hour for lunch)

Place: Studio of Sharon Freeman,
VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON (Not Vancouver BC)

Location: The teaching studio is located in Vancouver, WASHINGTON
....... 6 miles from the Interstate 5 Bridge into Portland, Oregon
.......1-1/2 miles from Interstate 5, (Exit 5) in Washington State
....... 2 miles from the I-5 and I-205 interchange in the Salmon Creek Area.

Optional photo tour of the Portland Rose Garden & the Portland Japanese Garden on Friday, Sept. 17th from 10:00 am - 2:30 p.m.
This tour will include a picnic lunch and entry fee into the Japanese Garden. (The Portland International Rose Garden is free)
COST OF OPTIONAL GARDEN TOURS: $15.00

Content: Using photographs to create floral watercolors, understanding and mixing color, selection of pigments for translucent flowers, creating background that accent flowers, various watercolor techniques, leaf and petal textures, basic composition guidelines, critiques, individual attention.

Cost for two-day workshops in Sharon's studio:
$100 for one person,
$180 for two people ($90 each),
w/ $50 deposit** each to hold your space.

(A limited selection of brushes and paper for sale at catalogue prices)

...A supply list and directions to Sharon's Studio will be mailed to you after deposit is received.

....Minimum 5 students (to hold class)
