In addition to studio instruction, students have an optional photo
tour of the Portland Rose Garden and the Portland Japanese Garden
on Friday, Sept. 17th.

Painting Vibrant Floral Watercolors
Time:
9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (one hour for lunch)
Content:
Using photographs to create floral watercolors, understanding and
mixing color, selection of pigments for translucent flowers, creating
background that accent flowers, various watercolor techniques, leaf
and petal textures, basic composition guidelines, critiques, individual
attention.
Cost
for two-day workshops in my studio:
$100 for one person,
$180 for two people ($90 each),
w/ $50 deposit** each to hold your space.
...Cost includes instruction; use of some pigments; use of projector;
use of over 200 reference photos, a few small sheets of watercolor
paper, a folder with information about color, pigments & composition;
critiques; refreshments; personal attention; use of kitchen facilities.
(A limited selection of brushes and paper for sale at catalogue
prices)
...A supply list and directions to Sharon's Studio will be mailed
to you after deposit is received.
